  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoon canola oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Ironworks Bluenose Rum
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz) box vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions: Preheat your oven to 350 °F. Grease a bunt pan liberally or you can make individual cakes in muffin pans. In a stand mixer combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter and oil. Mix until it resembles sand in texture. While mixer is running, in a bowl, whisk together the eggs, rum, milk, pudding and vanilla. Pour into dry mix and beat until you have a smooth batter. Then pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-45 minutes or until when you test with a skewer it comes out clean.
